I am trying to decide on my first bow. I know that Martin has a new model called the Tigress, which is geared for female archers....I also know I can get any bow, as long as it's light enough, adn can be cranked down far enough that I can pull it back?

Anyone have an opinion???

Thanks,
C

hopefully you have a good archery shop near you. Some place you can go and try a couple of different bows. I personally like Hoyt. My wife shoots an Ultra Tec with XT 2000 limbs. It is a very forgiving bow and still has speed. It is a decision only you can make. If you have any other questions about her bow, let me know. Good luck. Jeff

Thanks for the reply. I am actually going to have a Martin shipped in to try. They are being awesome about it! If that doesn't feel right, I am most likely going to end up with a Hoyt. I was looking at the Ultra Tech. It felt good, but I really want it to be purple!

Thanks for the input!

what ever you end up getting, please let us know how it works out. If you can, let us know what kind of set up you are shooting. It is always difficult to find equiptment to fit a woman. Hope all works out for you.

An Extreme Sight in competion silver that I "borrowed" from my step-dad.

It's shooting well! Groups getting smaller everyday! It just looks so little, because it's only 33" ATA. ANd it was hanging beside a Protec. It's like an itty bitty bow. But I love it so far!
