No doubt the sight is of great quality, however the price seems a bit high.
I have purchased many of them them on AT and e$ay for <$60.00.

There are more than this model, so perhaps your purchase was for one of the cheaper models. Maybe one of the ones with the plastic housing assembly that is clear rather than a aluminim one like mine.

So, why are you wanting to switch to fixed sights just our of curiousity??? I have always used fixed sights, but am thinking about trying the slide type single pin sight. I hunt out west. If you get the chance to respond I would be interested.
