The seller of a youth recurve bow stated that he twisted a 48" bow string to fit the bow that is 46". Is this the way it is done?

You can't twist 2" out of a bowstring. just my opinion.

Do you know if they sell 46" bow strings for recurve bows? My search online turned up negative.
