When it comes to bowhunting a quiver is a good thing right ,more arrows at a easily reached spot for a quick second shot or a shot at another turkey that is still in range. On the other hand it is more weight to your bow,it vibrates, and it adds that other variable to the reliability of your equipment.Do you perfer you bow with the quiver on or off?:decision:

I practice the way I hunt...and I practice with it on. I like the fact that I have another arrow right there close at hand. It has come in pretty handy at times. My first year bow hunting I had a bow tech patriot and shot all six arrows out of my quiver on one doe. I never did get her, I did get mad though and climbed out of my stand to go home. She didn't run!!! I picked up one of the arrows that I had already shot and lobbed another at her. She ran off that time, still without a arrow in her:doh: . I never said the deer I hunt are smart! So, yes, quiver on for me.:frusty: Just so everyone knows I am a much better shot and more impotantly a much more ethical hunter. I was young and dumb...don't blame me.

Most of the year, I practice with the quiver off. I think it forces me to hold steady without the extra weight, but I could be wrong. The first week of August, a month before season, I put it on and leave it. The weight does help me hold steady, sort of like an extra stabilizer. I do notice a little more torque on release, and a little more noise, but my groups tighten up a bit.

I'll be shooting from tree stands this year for the first time and I haven't decided whether to leave the quiver on. It's something else to get in the way, but I like the idea of having those extra arrows right at hand.

The only time I have my quiver on my bow is walking into my spot after that it's off.

Off for me. I mounted a bracket on my Summit so I can take it off the bow and attach it to the stand.

i hunt 99pct of the time in a stand or a blind . the only time the quiver is on is on the way in and out . but i do take a few practice shots with it on to see if i notice a difference and it doesnt seem to make much diference to me .

Off

I have a long loop of rope tied through my quiver and I just sling it over my shoulder on the way to and from the stand. I just tie it on a branch within reach when I get on stand.

I am a little clumsy and have bent a few arrow on the way to the stand with them attached to the bow.

Off.

I hang it on my bow hook, follow up arrow 2 seconds away.

T-5 makes it fast and quiet.

OFF for me. I bought a bunch of the quickie mounts years ago and screw them into all my trees I hunt. Snap Snap

Off once in the stand. If I lived where spot-n-stalk was posiible, different story.

Always on while I'm hunting. It does not change the arrow impact point enough for me to tell, out to 60 yards. It has never caused me any grief while hunting, ever.

Walking- On

In the stand- off

Only reason I take it off in the stand, have had times when an arrow would snag something, usually the platform and make a horrible racket.

I used to be really hung up on this. Now o practice with it on quite a bit.
When It comes time to seal the deal, it has never bothered me to have it on. Only time it gets to be a pain is while practicing in the yard, putting out 30-40 shots. Then the weight and balance has an effect.
Ideally- walking-on
Stand-off
But it really doesn't matter to me when its time to smoke one!

Off while on stand or in a ground blind. I've never missed a 2nd shot opportunity yet by having it off the bow.

I take mine off in the stand. With it off less noise.
