Leaving for the North Country on Thursday Morning, Should be in a stand on Friday night. Will Visit Grayling and pay respects to Fred Bear, annual thing we do. As far as I'm concerned, the song is very true, in the wind he's still alive!:peace:

My Grandparent lived in Almira. I've been to the Fred Bear museum many times as a kid. Got a doe, yesterday. Just ate some shoulder roast for dinner. Cooked all night 'till it was falling off the bone. Hope you can taste some of your own, soon. Enjoy the northwoods and good luck! :hungry:

Thanks, good to here you got some fresh Ven! Sometimes I get a awful feeling knowing all Fred's personal stuff is down there in Springfeild Mo. Cabela's Dundee had the chance to keep it here in Michigan but the bidding went over one million dollars so Bass Pro Shops got it. I always felt they should have spent the money, and kept his stuff here. His personal skinning knife and stone was in that collection. :rockon:

Wack em and stack em Grizz,,,,,,,,I stop into the museum every summer. My in-laws have a summer retreat a few miles outside of Grayling.

Gee Wiz, to much stuff, its all piled up in the dining room ready to load in the a.m.! Lets see Bow in hard case, Target arrows, Hunting arrows in hard case.
Archery Access Box, Optic bag, Binos, rangefinder and stuff. Two scent free bags full of camo this that and Scent-Loc, One has Just foot gear in. Should er bag with knifes, sharpeners, etc, Grinder, cuber, Summit Stand, Two ground Blinds, and the list goes on. Could be very cold, could be warm need both heavy and light clothes. Scent Killer, Deer Calls, OH my Gosh what a lot of stuff! Anyone having a good way to organize I am all ears. Thanks and Good Luck to all my buddies out there.
