I wear coveralls for cold weather hunting, but seeing as this will be my first year bow hunting, i was just wondering what seems to be popular? I bought one of those leafy wear suits since i have this leafy bush next to the tree I sit in..It kind of matches, along with the drop down blind on my summit climber. Guess I'm just wondering if it would be worth it to invest in a set of un-insulated coveralls for those rainy/nasty days instead of getting wet while wearing the leafy wear suit.

It gets pretty cold here in Northern Michigan's late bow season, sub zero. I don't go bowhunting without my heavy insulated camo coveralls and heavy ice fishing boots once temps drop into the teen's. For rainy weather I use Rivers West jacket and pants. The other coveralls I have are my Savanna Scent Lok suit. Scent Lok or Scent Blocker is less expensive in a coverall as opposed to a 2 piece suit.

Cover alls and a jacket.
I usually put my leafy wear over it at times depending on the tree Im hunting.

I wear scent lok coveralls. Way cheaper than buying a pant and a top.

I have the lighter weight Scentloc Savana Coveralls for early season, but when it turns cold, regular insulated coveralls rule. I use the Walls most of the season, and then usually end up in the Cabelas late season coveralls. Hard to keep warm sitting still.

When I was younger I loved a one piece insulated camo outfit! But for the last few years I have come over to a larger jacket and Bibs, I find it makes layering easier. About four years ago a real cold late season Muzzle load hunt
my buddy told me after I get all dressed at the truck I looked like the Michlin Fat Man in my One piece suit. Later when I had to take care of that certain bussiness, it was a real chore to strip down and P_ _ _. Yep! I like my insulated jacket and bibs. This time of year I go lite and layer with Full Season or Timber Fleece on top. Fleece is Dead Quiet!
