Well it finally came together for me. 7:45 this am. Nice little spike horn 27 yds right through the pump. He didn't go 50 yds, I watched him hit the ground. I hadn't seen anything yet and I have hunted every night in since the season opened. Bow season is really early here in the adks and the deer haven't started to move good yet. Anyway I am happy and he will taste wonderful.

Forgot to mention how cool it was to see that FOB fly off when the arrow passed through. What a sure way to know you have a hit.

I missed one 2 years ago and haven't seen one when I had the bow since. This area is rifle country for a reason. Most of the deer I take are between 150 and 250 yds, and that is a little out of bow range. It won't be the last one I take.

nice work, anytime you put a good shot on one with a bow, it is definately an earned trophy:peace: real good job on the first too:rockon:
