I started out with recurve target archery a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. So far I have been lending a bow from the local archery club but now I am looking to purchase a bow of my own. I am looking for a not too expencive bow to start out with and I have come across a bow kit.
It´s "Kit 1 Recurve - Adult" at http://www.archeryworld.co.uk/acatalog/Bow_Kits.html
Is anyone familiar with this bow and do you evaluate it as a good purchase?

Im new to this too. I got a 66" recurve take down bow that looks like the one you want. You could go to an archery store and talk to them because they usually archers.

Are you in a different country?

I would say it has about everything you would need to get started. If you have access to a pro shop, I would go there first. They many have some used bows which might be cheaper and unless you want to invest the time and to repair you own arrows etc you will need help from someone.
