I am considering trying some blue Toughfiber, and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it. How bright is it? Does it gather light as well as green? Will I need a light pretty much all the time with it? Thanks for any info in advance. Josh

Toughfiber is a brand of fiber optic sold by Scott and Son Archery. I think they are a sponsor over on AT.

Hunter, are you saying that the blue doesn't gather much light? This is disappointing to say the least. I was really wanting to try blue, but I keep hearing the same things about it being dim.

I tried blue and couldn't see it.

but then again I don't have the best eyes anymore

Green is my best color, then orange. Red seems to starburst and it's hard to look though

blue doesnt work well with my eyes either...green is the brightest pin that doesnt give off any glare/halo

For hunting I wouldn't use it because it doesn't gather as much light but for targets I worked really good for me.

I tried some blue, but for me it requires a light 100% of the time. Not a big deal if you use one anyway, but I don't, and I did'nt want to HAVE to. I think I have some blue left Josh, if you want to try it. It's probably the brightfiber and not toughfiber though.

I appreciate the offer Red, but I think I will pass and just stick with the green I have. I have heard enough negative things about the blue that I have lost interest in it. I also don't want to have to use a light all the time. Thanks again.

He won some national events indoor and out. Several of my pro firends use the blue fibor with the LP light. Actually works well.
