Are there any companies out there willing to give sponsorship/shooting team positions to kids. I have a twelve year old daughter who has been shooting for a while now and was just wondering. She has been shooting mostly target, 3D, 4H competitions, and or State games and has done well at all of them. She is currently shooting a Hoyt Tricon, Jr. and Beman ICS Hunter Jr. arrows. Thanks

Actually most of them will in one form or another. Get some pics of her shooting her bow and do a shooter resume. Do it like you would an employment application and chang everything over to archery related info.
Best of luck.

My entire family : Wife, 16 year old daughter, 9 year old daughter, and myself are all on staff with Victory Arrows, RipCord rests and Dead Center Archery stabilizers. They all shoot VaneTec, though I shoot for TrueFlight feathers, I like fethers better personally. The littlest girls is also on staff for Trueball releases.
BUT we shoot what we want first and foremoest, and think about staff positions second. I will not sign with a Co. whose product I don;t honestly feel confident in just to get free stuff or to say "I'm on staff with XYZ Co.
About the only sponsorship/staff we have not picked up is a Bow Mfg. We've been offered a few but turned them down. We'll shoot Martin unsigned before shooting anything else.... the one exception being if we get an offer from Alpine. Alpine does a lot to promote Youth & woman's archery , and I really dig that.
But they are just not going to give them slots away... All my ladies are State Champions in their respective categories, compete heavily on local state regional and national levels. We travel extensively. Also we "give back" a lot. we attend and help out at youth shoots, coach for free and even run a free youth archery program at our church. We are going to a large regional summer camp to help them re-start up their defunct Archery Program this summer.... It's not just about winning it's also about attitude and what you do to present and promote the sport.
