BUNNYMAN 10-17-2006, 05:59 PM look they finally figured a way to kep those blowtech limbs together...... that really has to be the ugliest bow I have ever seen....... walks with a gimp 10-17-2006, 11:40 PM look they finally figured a way to kep those blowtech limbs together...... that really has to be the ugliest bow I have ever seen....... You always make it a habbit of calling a bow,, blow,,,,, man? diamond-vic. 10-18-2006, 08:40 AM i bet my bowtech can out shoot whatever you shoot:rockon: Dredly 10-18-2006, 08:47 AM looking at that I can't figure out how it would work as the riser appears to be solid... weird. how long before Elite comes out with their version? :) Chris 10-18-2006, 12:16 PM rumored specs... Guardian 33.75" ata 321-329 IBO 7 1/8" brace Camo 10-20-2006, 12:18 AM Well, to me, it looks as though there are pivot points on the riser, as if the ends of the riser would sweep back at full draw......?????? Strange, but I'm sure they are not going to market something that dont work.. As for the rumored specs......If that is what it does, I'll take an Allegiance!:noidea: Chris 10-20-2006, 10:48 AM Ok, just talked to Bowtech last night. They said the Guardian and Commander are going to cause a big stir in the industry. The new system completely eliminates any cam lean. But that's not the big thing. The big thing is the pivot points are totally different. With the riser designed the way it is, it shoots and aims like a big bow. It has something to do with the pivot point being behind the grip instead of in front of the grip like typical systems. No bow press needed to change the strings and cables. Supposedly they tune incredibly easy. The average archer will see dramatic improvements in accuracy according to BT. I know I can't wait till they show up so I can start testing them. Oh here are some specs direct from Bowtech Commander 37-1/4" Axle 7-1/2" brace draw lengths 27-32" IBO 318 Guardian 33-3/7" Axle 7-1/4" brace draw lenghts 25-30" IBO 329 Oh and get this a new Constitution 41" axle 8-1/4" brace 320 IBO:rockon: New cams on the tribute and allegiance. The Allegiance riser is a bit lighter this year. Oh and Side Plate Grips :peace: . Target colors will be Chrome, Black Chrome and Marble. Boy I really liked the Blue and Red last year but they said it was too hard to produce. HOYT4LIFE 10-21-2006, 12:24 PM If anyone knows of any shops in the Eastern Pa ,, NJ,, De,, Md area that has the new Bowtechs out please post. The small shops in my area said not until late Dec. BUNNYMAN 10-21-2006, 08:17 PM just because they are advertising the new bows does not mean they are available yet....... HOYT4LIFE 10-22-2006, 06:51 AM Gee, ya think Bowman. I was referring to when they are released! Dredly 10-22-2006, 07:29 AM Gee, ya think Bowman. I was referring to when they are released! are you going to change you name? BUNNYMAN 10-22-2006, 07:33 AM If anyone knows of any shops in the Eastern Pa ,, NJ,, De,, Md area that has the new Bowtechs out please post. The small shops in my area said not until late Dec. actually smart guy reread your post before you speak........ HOYT4LIFE 10-22-2006, 07:59 AM Looks like I might have to Dredly. If it is as sweet as people are saying than definately. Sorry for mistating a post Bowman, maybe I'll grow up to be as smart as you someday, looks like you were the only one that could not figure that out. BUNNYMAN 10-22-2006, 08:11 AM if you have not relized it, noone will ever be as smart as me.....I am a legend in my own mind..... Dredly 10-22-2006, 08:12 AM if you have not relized it, noone will ever be as smart as me.....I am a legend in my own mind..... as scary as that thought is I believe it! haha BUNNYMAN 10-22-2006, 08:22 AM finally some one agrees........ BowhuntnHoosier 10-22-2006, 10:42 AM That is a pretty ugly bow but, can you imagine what the traditional archers said when they seen the first compound????? If I can get my hands on one I'll give it a test.:peace: BUNNYMAN 10-22-2006, 11:00 AM That is a pretty ugly bow but, can you imagine what the traditional archers said when they seen the first compound????? If I can get my hands on one I'll give it a test.:peace: have fun and remember i say this to myself every morning in the mirror......looks are not everything...... Darton_Shooter 10-23-2006, 02:30 AM i bet my bowtech can out shoot whatever you shoot:rockon: Well I guess that is a relative term given this movie here...and they shoot recurves...a bow is only as good as the man shooting it, regardless of FPS, brace height, doodads and widgets. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcNY2t0h-HE&eurl It's about 4:30 mins in length and if you can do that bro with your Diamond join the olympics, oh and note the distances in meters too:laugh:  papito 10-23-2006, 09:15 AM I'm new to bow hunting and i dont know much about whats good and whats not but that is one of the ugliest bows ive ever seen!!! BUNNYMAN 10-23-2006, 03:18 PM I already posted that in another thread....the korean archery thread bullspotter 10-23-2006, 10:43 PM I heard they got rid of the cam lean by changing the cables to the other side of the cam..... Swapped the cables and string around.... Dredly 10-24-2006, 02:38 AM I heard they got rid of the cam lean by changing the cables to the other side of the cam..... Swapped the cables and string around.... wouldn't that just make them lean the other way? BUNNYMAN 10-24-2006, 06:09 AM wouldn't that just make them lean the other way? now thats funny but ......hes right....... BUNNYMAN 10-24-2006, 06:11 AM Instead of wasting time and money on fixing this "great" idea (binary) why dont they just come up w/something that works properly in the first place..... Xtremesportsman 10-26-2006, 07:57 AM I recently bought the Elite E-Force and what a bad experience this was. I personally can not wait for these new BowTechs to arrive on the shelves so I can see tyhem hands on. If they are as good as the other products Bowtech continues to put out I would be interested in one. I currently shoot a Mathews Switchback (27 inch @ 60 lbs) and the E-force (26 inch @ 65 lbs). I am hunting with the Switchback this year because the dealer that sold me the Elite set the bow up so bad I didn't have time to shoot it. Sadly enough I brought the Elite to a dealer that sells BowTech and Mathews to fix it (same one that sold me my mathews) and he set the Elite up to shoot. At least now I can shoot the bow and get some enjoyment out of it. I just wish I had faith in the Elite Archery Company like I have had in all the bows I have owned and the companies that made them. Jennings, Browning, PSE and Mathews. I have searched for a contact email for Elite to answer some of my questions but they have absolutely nothing. I understand they are a new company, but they have to understnad the customers concerns. When they let their customers get the information from a forum about their (Elite Archery) bows, they are not a very good business to deal with. All in all I do like the Elite Eforce, but anyone can see it is a Bowtech copy. The one thing that sold me over the Bowtech was the camo on it, very nice. Now that it is shooting for me and set up properly it is very fast but not as smooth as my Mathews Switchback. But owning the bow and having customer support from the company is two things thayt shold go hand in hand. They are two things that I will look for in the future. My own fault for jumping on a pretty bow without doing a little research on my own first. I also listened to a dealer that obviously didn't want to get stuck with bows from a going under company. But maybe the lesson here is you sholdn't screw the customer. My .02 cents only. BUNNYMAN 10-26-2006, 07:37 PM I also listened to a dealer that obviously didn't want to get stuck with bows from a going under company. . has there been any word on wether they are done or not......thought for sure they would have been done by now......guess now w/the way the new bowtechs look that they wont have to worry about any copyrights....... Dredly 10-26-2006, 07:38 PM has there been any word on wether they are done or not......thought for sure they would have been done by now......guess now w/the way the new bowtechs look that they wont have to worry about any copyrights....... They are producing a limited 07 line... No lefties or short draw bows though. BUNNYMAN 10-26-2006, 07:40 PM They are producing a limited 07 line... Dredly 10-26-2006, 07:40 PM well no short draw that means I an out .........maybe we CAN be 3dshoots buddies....... Yeah just what I need a 3dshoots buddy that can't even draw 27 inches. BUNNYMAN 10-26-2006, 07:41 PM Yeah just what I need a 3dshoots buddy that can't even draw 27 inches. I can and do......27.5 Dredly 10-26-2006, 07:44 PM I can and do......27.5 I'll look like a giant next to you drawing my 30.5... nope you must be at least 28 inch draw to shoot. Sorry BUNNYMAN 10-27-2006, 09:43 PM I'll look like a giant next to you drawing my 30.5... nope you must be at least 28 inch draw to shoot. BUNNYMAN 10-28-2006, 06:45 PM Bowman, haven't you killed that dead horse yet? What if it's such a cool bow in your hands that shoots better than anything you could ever dream of,,,,,,,, and you buy one?? You'll be eatin' many crows....... BUNNYMAN 10-28-2006, 10:06 PM well now if there were an actual reason for me to shoot one.....that may come true.....but as seeing as the only dealer around these parts is a complete idiot......I dont see that happening.......I might buy a bow in a sealed box from him if it were the only place to get said bow........but I would not let this two faced joker attempt to do what he calls tunning....... I went there today and shot a Ross......and all he could do was tel me how fast a bowtech is and how my Switchback and all Mathews for that matter were slow and out dated......but yet when you call his place on the phone....and his wifey answers....ask if they sell mathews.....oh not yet but we have been trying for a while was her exact answer....... by the way It was a ross cr334 and I have to admit it shot pretty nice.....only ross in the store though.....as i was walking in the last cr337 was walking out the door.... really wanted to try that one...... and by the way the hole time I was shooting it he kept trying to push an Allegeince down my throat.....and why cuz its faster.......that was his answer to everything....... BUNNYMAN 10-28-2006, 10:08 PM I think thats the reason alot of bow companies get bad raps.....because the people who represent them, act like this....... walks with a gimp 10-28-2006, 11:08 PM I think thats the reason alot of bow companies get bad raps.....because the people who represent them, act like this....... BowhuntnHoosier 10-29-2006, 05:17 AM Keep on kicking that dead horse my friend but the bottom line is they keep on killing deer after deer after deer after deer after deer. So maybe your opinion is not correct after all..............huh guys thats something to think about.:D Bowmans opinion not right maybe just a way to up the ole post count.:dizzy: As for the Guardian like I said before its very ugly but if I can get my hands on one I'll give it a few shots and compare it to the greatest bow ever produced(Mathews Switchback XT) J/K thats only my opinion.
