I don't really store my bow because I shoot it everyday! It sleeps on a pillow next to me in my King Size Pillow Top when not in use........

Today's bows can cost more than a gun, have NO real control on sales (like gun control has), and even a convicted felon can own one. If you are planning on storing it for a long period of time I would recommend putting it in a hard case with plenty of soft cushion around it and maybe even climate control:peace:

I keep mine in my SKB soft case in my truck. I shoot almost very day. Hanging on the wall gathers too much dust.

Nice wall though.

On the wall. More arrows in the closet. Other stuff like fletching jigs, shafts, tools are in the shop. My bow and DW's bow.

Hang mine on the wall hook in my archery room except during hunting season. I then keep it in a deep plastic bow case I seal with weather stripping. I made a carbon wrap from some bulk material to line the case with for scent elimination. How many of us practice strict scent controle on ourselves and then enter the wood with a bow that smells like our home? I used to.

I've been leaving mine under the bed in a hard case, but I go get my new pse dream season tomorrow. I've made a pact with myself to shoot everyday, so I will have to find a spot that will have easy access and where I can see it so I don't forget to go shoot.

My bow gets sprayed down with scent-free spray before I enter the woods! But the more I've investigated scents.....the more I've found that hard, non-porous items, such as 90% of my bow doesn't really attract much scent! So I've started to just keep it cleaned with scent free body wash that I've put in a spray bottle dilluted in warm water. If you can wash your body with scent free soap/body wash and not have to worry about touching anything before you get into the woods, then I think my bow can handle the same!!

Too many variables, you can't get rid of ALL scent! Every little bit helps though.

dont bother storing it, shoot it everyday all day. If you have to get a good hard case with plenty of padding. Also try and find an arrow box. I have messed up alot of fletchings cause i have nowhere to store my arrows so i just shoot them.
