Better for what?

The X cutter is .382 diameter with a spine of .250 while the Fatboy is .355 at the largest with a spine of .340

I shot an ASA once... :biggrin1:

Personally, I'd try 'em both and see which one would give me the higher FOC and still let me get 280 at my draw length and draw weight..

There is a great program that will allow you to build different setups and see what the affect, called OnTarget2... http://www.pinwheelsoftware.com/ I use the SFA program. You can download a trial copy and play around a bit before you buy..

I would try them both, also I would look at some Gold Tip 22 Series they are slightly smaller than the Fatboys but are great arrows, the ones I use are extremely straight, straighter than my Fatboy 500s were. Hope this help.

Here are the links to the pro version and the regular version, I really like mine, the weight, and the spine of them compared to other Gold Tip target arrows.

Another arrow to consider is the Victory X-Ringer. They are approximately the same diameter of the X Cutter but they're available in .350 and .250 spine and in both the regular and HV (lightweight) varietys and with the options of +/-.001 (V1) or +/- .005 (V5) straightnesses.

I shoot the regular Victory X-Ringer 250 V1 and I love this shaft. Especially works great for me shooting fingers with my draw weight (70 lbs) and draw length (30.5").
