I am loooking at the Alpine SoftLoc or the octane, witch one is better?. Alpine, I would not give the money for the octane when I could buy an Alpine, they truly do make the best quivers on the market, you will not be disappointed with an alpine. WCH 11-30-2009, 08:35 PM Also I am not bashing Octane but if I remember correctly those quivers are pretty pricey. So don't think I am bashing it. grizz49 11-30-2009, 08:46 PM What make and model of Bow will it go on! hunter2678 11-30-2009, 08:53 PM Alpine by far...lighter, super functional, effective and half the cost of the octane. roosevelt 11-30-2009, 11:24 PM alpine soft locks are quiet too, the bear claw is not though MeanV2 12-01-2009, 08:21 AM The Alpine Soft Loc is a Good quiver, but after trying several quivers over the past few years my favorite is the Bantam Weight Quiver by Octane. Great quality, and adjustability, very light and easy to detach also. Other quivers you might look at depending on which bow you are putting it on is a Tree Limb, and the Tight Spot. Dan dicksenn 12-01-2009, 08:22 AM Love my Octane quiver, but it's really hard to beat Alpine because it's a quality quiver and much cheaper than the Octane. 09Dreamseason 12-01-2009, 02:03 PM I use the 3 arrow Alpine Soft Loc........you can't beat this quiver!!! Light weight, quiet on/off, low profile, VERY affordable!! Hook Em 12-01-2009, 05:16 PM Me and the wife both love our Alpine quivers... hstubblefield 12-01-2009, 05:34 PM Love my Octane quiver, but it's really hard to beat Alpine because it's a quality quiver and much cheaper than the Octane. +1 love my octane and I have a alpine on one bow MeanV2 12-01-2009, 06:59 PM I use the 3 arrow Alpine Soft Loc........you can't beat this quiver!!! Light weight, quiet on/off, low profile, VERY affordable!! Until you try to stick 3 Grizz Tricks in there. Tighter than I care for:cool: Dan 09Dreamseason 12-01-2009, 09:37 PM Until you try to stick 3 Grizz Tricks in there. Tighter than I care for:cool: Dan It's perfect for 3 Muzzy 4 100s and 3 G5 Strikers so far.......don't need more than that! 09Dreamseason 12-01-2009, 09:40 PM when you have 1 nocked on the bow, there's plenty of room for the other 2! Only reason I need more than one is so that I can shoot more than one deer while I'm in the stand!!! dicksenn 12-02-2009, 09:47 AM Until you try to stick 3 Grizz Tricks in there. Tighter than I care for:cool: Dan Very valid point. My dad has the 3 arrow Alpine quiver and just putting 3 magnus stingers in there is pretty dang tight. hunter2678 12-02-2009, 11:13 AM I can fit 3 magnum ST's in my 3 arrow alpine just fine....is a bit tight but its very doable. |
