so go shoot the new PSE bows, its unlikely you would break one. Hell I have 1 X-force now and want 2 of the new ones to go with it. Try out every bow you can get your hands on, most new bows are pretty tuff no matter who made them. Anyway I think you'll like a new PSE. Good luck

All of the PSE lines come in XL versions.....

HOW are you going to break a PSE? Negligence, improper use, and just plain abuse is the ONLY way you're going to break one!

I'd sure go with something at least (40" would be better) 38" axle to axle even for a hunting bow with your wingspan!

My suggestion of new 2010 bows would be the Hoyt contender with 3000 limbs.

I'm 6'3" with a 31"dl and really favor the longer bows. You didn't mention your dl but I'm guessing it is hovering around 32". If that is the case you are going to be very limited in choices right out the door.

Good luck and welcome to the furum.:welcome:

and a Ventura would fit the bill for a long Draw length

I am 6'7" my DL is 32.75 measured and I shoot a 32" to the string with a 3/4" d-loop. Hoyt has more bows models than anyone that will go long dl's. Just because you are tall does not mean you need a long draw. I shoot a 37" ATA anything shorter and it looks like I am shooting a kids bow. Here I am shooting my Elite at 37" ATA and 32" dl:

Here I am shooting a 33" ATA with a 2 1/2" d-loop:

I have shot PSE, Bowtech, Hoyt, NBA, Alpine and I prefer Elite bows, the ones that go to the long 31"+ dl's are the XXL, XLR and the 2006 Energy line. Again that is what I shoot, try them for yourself, PSE is a great bow and what I started with, Hoyt is another as is Bowtech. Try them out and find what you like. I would look for something that is in the 37"+ ATA and start from there, if you are shooting 3D or Indoor then the longer ATA I do not have a problem hunting with one that has a 36"+ ATA.

No that is a Aigil SS from Nov of last year. We thought we could get it out to 31 but fell a little short. I ended up changing it back to a Aigil and giving it to my son.
