I like the new blazer vanes and have had very good luck with them so far. I just started shooting carbon arrows with blazer vanes. I picked up some vanes today to refletch arrows. Not really paying attention to what took place at the pro shop, after returning home and thinking about what I payed for those vanes it ended up being $8 for a dozen  . I think a mistake was made but the pro shop is closed till monday.

I think they cost me around .50 each. And worth every penny in my opinion.

what I can't figure out is why blazers, which are much smaller then Duravanes and other 4 inch vanes cost so much more?

8.00 a dozen is insane though.

I get my Blazers from Archery Experts-$13.99 for 100 plus shipping. Can get them in a 36 pack from Cabelas for $7.99 which will do a dozen arrows. Sounds about right on to me.

Yeah I think a mistake was made on the price, I payed $8 for 12 blazer vanes.I bought 36 blazer vanes and a package of 12 x nocks ($6.99) total bill was $32. I am sure they will make it right at the pro shop, if not already looked into ebay pricing.

I do agree blazer vanes are great shooters(field points and broadheads). I'm going to try out the durvane predator 2" as well.

Wait, does he mean he paid for enought to do a dozen arrows or enough to do 4 arrows (one dozen veins)

I thought he meant that he said he paid 8.00 for 12 veins.

Dredly, your right I paid $8 for 12 blazers enough to do 4 arrows. I bought 3 dozen or 36 blazers (24 white and 12 blue) for $24 :frusty:. Just was not impressed with the original fletching job that came on arrows when bought. I really think from now on I will be buying raw shafts and fletching myself.

Wow that is expensive then! unless they were crested, glued, cut.... if you paid that just for the blazers and having them put on thats pretty high.

That was just for the blazers I refletched my own arrows. I think I get a better quality job when I do it myself.(plus I enjoy doing it).

I guess I'm guilty of reading it wrong. That is pretty high for just 12 vanes.

Just to let you all know a mistake was made. I called the pro shop as soon as I had a chance today. After it was all said and done I now have a credit in the store. It should have been $8 for 36 blazers. :decision:

I wonder what shipping would be to AZ. I will have to look into this.
