Maybe do a hog hunt in between to fill the need to harvest something. Most likely shoot a little indoor/3d untell turkey season.

I will have to call you for a crash course in Turkey hunting. They have a archery only season first part of April, then 1 1/2 months of gun/archery.

Also hoping this might turn into a Deer hunting spot as well :amen:

Have to come down one day and we will go hunt them. Not alot to it but very challenging. Kansas is the right place to start. Lots of turkey. Must warn you it more fun than deer hunting.

Don't tell me that, I'm having enough trouble trying to fit in all the hunting/shooting I'd like to do as it is :D

I,m gona try and do some turkey hunting this year for the first time. And I'm gona start out the hard way. With the ol z7. Can't weight sorta but on the other hand I whish I wouldn't have messed around and started deer hunting so late. So I'd really like to have a little longer on that but I'm gona be focused on next year with me and my buddys seem to have finaly aquired the lease land we been after so I will have a lot of time taken up by scouting and placing stands, planting food plots, setting up feeders and so on. Thats what I'm really excited about but am deff ready to do some gobbler stabbing.

More fun...if you can get them to come in! I have timed it wrong for the past 3 years and my lease is 5 hours away. I may just stay up there this year until I get one!

I can't wait for turkey season myself! I am unsure if I want a new turkey gun this year, or a Mathews bow. If the money comes in, I will have to get the bow!
