Here is a picture of Logan, my 2 1/2 year old with his new recurve. Almost every night he wants to go down to the basement and "go boom with my bow".
For the last year whenever we see a deer he hollars from the back seat "get my bow". You have to hand him his imaginary bow. Then he hollars "get my arrows", of which are imaginary too. Then he pulls back the imaginary bow and yells "BOOM".

Tell him, after the shot, he's supposed to yell: "Get the truck!"
Sounds to me like your kid is telling you your bow is too loud.

I thought about that too:decision: , so I told him that we don't have any Bowtechs in the house so we don't have to worry about our bows going "boom"!

If I want to keep peace in my family I had better tell him to yell "get the horses". I'll have to look, I may have a picture here somewhere of Logan riding with my uncle.

Here is how Logan will get to our hunting spot (riding Okie) and how his elk will get packed out (on juan"s back).
