Hi All,
I'll start by saying I am a rookie when it comes to bow hunting. I have only hunted two seasons with a bow, but I was successful in harvesting a three point mule deer my second year at 42 yards. However, I do have the archery bug and drew a local turkey tag this year and want to harvest a turkey with by bow, but I am unsure as to how to attempt this.
I guess my question is... can I use my Muzzy broadheads or shoud I use the guillotines as I have seen advertised??? I have also heard that a "pass through shot is not has good as leaving the arrow buried within the turkey? So should I back of the poundage of my bow??? Please offer any advise you might have to successfully harvest a turkey with a bow.
Thank you in advance for any advice.
