Thanks, Dale. 3X lens seem to be a good start. 1 1/2" housing seems to be very popular. One thing is do you like the up pin in front or back of the lens. I think in front is most popular. Both work and I have used both. I do think up pins work best because on rainy days you can remove the scope lens and shoot. Scopes Viper, Classic and CBE all make good scopes. hutchies 04-02-2010, 09:52 AM Gotta agree with everything he just said. I had a 4 power and it seemed a little much. The Viper for the money I don't think you can beat. The lens are dang good and the scopes are solid for $100 RageBlood 04-02-2010, 12:09 PM Sooo... I ordered an 1-3/4" Viper. 0.010" green up pin in front of a x3 Ziess lense, $106 tmd, did I do good? Daniel Boone 04-02-2010, 12:48 PM Sooo... I ordered an 1-3/4" Viper. 0.010" green up pin in front of a x3 Ziess lense, $106 tmd, did I do good? Very bright up pin. I often have to put tape on fiber wrap to tune it down. Good price and good scope. Good kens and fair price. DB RandyD 04-02-2010, 01:06 PM Great choice for your first scope. 72Beetle 04-03-2010, 09:03 PM Nice scope I just bought one same set up for $104 I really like it. |
