Great pics as usual. Got a "hog waller" jackpot shoot today at L&L in Bastrop that'll be dark and rainy too.
Say, what's with the paper signs tellin' ya'll the yardages on the first set of pics?

Them signs were for our sims known distance range that were kinda wet:lol: Thanks to everyone that came out and shot. We had a great crowd as usual the numbers were a little down this year but with the weather you have to expect that. Thanks DB for taking pictures for us since I forgot to bring my camera but I wouldn't have had much time to take pictures any way:bowl: I'll get some scores posted sometime today after church. Now the next time ASA is in Texas show up and shoot the Simms range (Novelty shoot at all Pro ams). All known distance. Come try it and its not near as easy as one thinks. You better be able to hit those small 12 rings and 14 rings. Okarcher is a simms range shooting master. Now I did win the simms down there at this shoot. We shot five targets. Shot 10,12,10 and one 14 ring on that spotted deer and finished with a 12 on Javelina. Im just glad Jamie or Chad wasnt shooting it.

Think that'd be fun. Down here, we ONLY score the center 12, and no 14. But we're kinda old school, you know, kneeling, squatting, and sitting in stands.
High score today was a 284, which damn sure wasn't me. Won a lot of $$.
Had an interesting "jackpot" shot at an unknown range that was over 65 yards. Put a 6" paper plate on an African Lion. I wuz a humbled bum... :laugh:

That works for me. As long as I know the rules. Shot plenty of events like that over the years. I dont sqaut or lean as easy now as I use to though:peace: :noidea: Getting old thing. Cant see 65yards. :doh:

Hell, you ain't the Lone Ranger there. I squat or kneel to shoot a 40 yard shot, and I can just about get straightened up when I go to pull arrows. Then I can't get the damn things outta the new foam. Gotta be sure and shoot with some youn'uns that have a Kung Fu grip.
I'm sure glad that HHA has a 4X lens for my slider, so I can see where the hell my misses go....:D
