I'm thinking about a new bow, and Athens has my attention right now. Tell me about them, and share some pics if you got them.

I own 2 of them and love the way they handle and shoot. They are smooth with no big valley and a firm back wall. I am only shooting 55# and it is shooting 296 at 28.5" draw. Some of my buddies shot my bow and now own Athens. I have owned all the major name bows ans these are by far much more pleasant to shoot. Go shoot one and you will see what I am saying.

I have a 300 and its a really nice bow. I like that the shelf is dang near flat and the machined grip is very comfortable. They are using TVA strings and you can get one in pretty much what ever color you want. If you like pm me your email and I can send some over. I can't attach them here with this phone.

Started off this 3D season with an Exceed 300... honestly, one of the best changes I ever made. I shoot finger(Limited class) and before, I was always "Stuck" shooting very light, weight(290gr) and spined arrows(CXL 150) just to achieve decent flight and still get any speed out of a Conquest3 or Rival Pro @ 60# and about 279 fps.

With the Exeed, I am now shooting Line Jammer 250 with 130 gr in the nose and 355gr total arrow weight, 60# @ 286 fps... makes for a VERY forgiving/stable arrow.

As mentioned already...the Exceed has a very smooth draw, little valley and rock solid wall. And it aims/holds like a rock. I no longer have to fight to keep my pin out of the bottom of the target like before.

Couple pics of the Exceed in action...
