Close call this morning...

Jimmy Mitchell, Gene Curry and I were out shooting some 3D mid morning.

Gene and I are walking down the trail to pull arrows, he about a step behind and to my right... I hear Gene holy!! *#$&@#*&$ !!, half thinking he'd walked into some catclaw, I turn to see this guy right in the trail.

I had walked right passed him, and Gene was about to step right in the middle of him.http://discussions.texasbowhunter.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif

We scored a 5, a 10 and 12 on him.

Awesome shots but thought you Texans were use to those rattlers.

Two that came hunting with me in Oklahoma just wnet over with a stick and stuck its head down and picked it up. I about knocked them over getting away from a six footer I just about stepped on.:lol:
