Just wondering what some of you guy's use for a hunting setup. 65 or 80% letoff. Or is it just a personal thing?

For a hunting setup, I prefer 75-80%

I use 65% on my target setups but that is because I need more holding weight to work the back tension release.

Some states still have minimum letoff requirements, typically 65%.

Other than that, it's a matter of personal preference.

I had 80% for the past several years but switched to 65% this past season. I wouldn't go with anything other than 65% from now on. The difference is not all that significant and it makes you just that more steady.

P.S. - In my unique case the 65% module on my cam was much much much easier on my cable serving.

65 percent is my preference. Whatever makes you comfortable should be what you shoot. Some states do have a minimum when it comes to a record deer, so thats something to check into.
