Chris 03-13-2005, 10:16 PM For a hunting setup, I prefer 75-80% I use 65% on my target setups but that is because I need more holding weight to work the back tension release. TMan 03-20-2005, 08:16 PM Some states still have minimum letoff requirements, typically 65%. Other than that, it's a matter of personal preference. Chequamegon Archer 03-20-2005, 11:08 PM I had 80% for the past several years but switched to 65% this past season. I wouldn't go with anything other than 65% from now on. The difference is not all that significant and it makes you just that more steady. P.S. - In my unique case the 65% module on my cam was much much much easier on my cable serving. CA Rcher12 04-24-2005, 12:55 AM I like bows anywhere from 65-75%. OK shooter 04-29-2005, 11:04 AM 65 percent is my preference. Whatever makes you comfortable should be what you shoot. Some states do have a minimum when it comes to a record deer, so thats something to check into. |
