I am 6 ft and 175lbs. I have used an api original grand slam stand for years. To my dissappointment they have dicontinued this model and only carry the magnum. It has the big backrest and all the bells and whistles. I am a die hard deer hunter and feel the original sling seat smaller version was much more versatile and held less scent. Any other api people have a comment or have any original api for sale. More bells and whistles don't always mean better for the woods.

API stands are nice but get a Summit and you wont even think of any other stands.......

I Have the old API GS climber I love it, have not seen the new ones and if I did I did'nt pay attention since I love mine

You should be able to buy a new seat for your stand .I bought one last year .I had my dealer order it .
