What tools do you use dressing animals? Is there any tool or tools that you feel working better then others?

My Bro got me a Shrade drop point hunter several years ago for my Bday . It has a gut hook on the end of which I dearly love . I have had a hard time giving this knife up for these reasons  . Good Post. HS

3" Kershaw. I field dressed a deer last week on my deer carrier with a expanded metal bottom. Kept the deer up of the ground out of the dirt. I didn't hang the deer right away so I proped the deer up on it's belly so it got air up through to cool him down.
