I like to wrap them in bacon with a pickle and an onion and then grill them. The key to keeping flare ups down on the grill is to put foil down and cook the dove on top of that.

Wrap in bacon and put the coals on one side and the dove on the other (indirect heat) and don't overcook, that can happen quickly.

I like to place 6-8 breasts in a glass baking dish, cover them with Cream of Mushroom soup, then cover the soup with whole slices of onion. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. I usually wrap up some potatoes and start them in the oven for 15 minutes before I put the doves in with them for the remaining 45 minutes. Use the Mushroom and Onion sauce as a gravy for your baked potatoe. Serve with some steamed Snow Peas or Grean Beans!
