I have a 2010 Bowtech Destroyer 350 and the IBO is 342-350.I chronographed it the other day and was only shooting around 298 fps! I shoot a 350 grain arrow by carbon express with 100 grain field tip, truefire release, and a octane tripwire rest. My draw weight is 70 lbs with a 29 inch draw. I dont understand why I cant at least get between 320-330 FPS. This is very depressing and a huge disappoinment. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I should do to get more FPS. Seriously if your reading this please help cause this sucks!!!!!!!

That is really slow for 70lbs, 29" draw, and 350 grain arrow. Is the arrow 350 grain a complete arrow? Field tip or broadhead weight included? I really don't know unless the bow is out of spec. or the chorno is wrong

my 350 with a 350 mgrain arrow shoots 340 at 71 lbs 29 inch . when you say carbon express 350 grain are you meaning size 350 . because if you havent weighed the arrow the 350 with a 100 grain point could weigh as much as 425 grains give or take a few depending on lenght and which arrow it is .

If that is the case you are shooting a 450 grain arrow and that is where you are losing some of your speed.

Something is very wrong with that bow if that is the speed you are getting.

I am sure the 100 extra grains on the arrow and stuff on the string will account for the loss in speed.

Did you weigh this arrow and tip?
Don't confuse spine with weight.
Maximas, for example, come in 400, 340, and 300 spine, but that's not the weight, but the stifness, measured in deflection (or flex)

Oh and I just got my first deer on opening day and first day I have ever hunted with a bow. I shot it at 40 yards with the Rage 3 and man it ripped it apart. Ran ten yards and fell over. It was AWSOME!!!!
