The guy that shot it said it was a by-product of using Beck's Hybrid Beans in his fields........:biggrin1:

Very nice deer indeed but it simply isnt anything compared to the new maryland record just recently killed.

Preliminary score is 268 5/8 with 28 scorable points. It has to dry for 60 days before they can do a final score.

according to who that deer doesnt compare???? you??? and your the person in charge of whos deer is better???

you know what the small 8 point I killed this year is just as nice as those two and guess what it wont cost me anything near as much as those guys to mount..........

by the way welcome.....and i was thinking that deer you posted didnt look right either

It does look a bit odd but it is absolutely huge and no I am not the person in charge of what deer is better. All I am saying is he acted like that deer was a monster destined to be in the top of the record books and its not.

humm funny, thats a dandy buck, I do have a ? though, the first pic, it is gutted out, and its still light out, but in the next ones posted, its dark out and its not gutted out. was the first pic taken the nextday or something?

yeah, id have to agree that there's something weird with that first pic. The body looks like a fawn with a huge rack on it. makes me thankful to live and hunt in the midwest (iowa)....I shot a 141" 8 pt this year with my bow that had a bigger body, if only the rack was proportionate to this maryland buck...:biggrin1:
