Been well over 15 years since shooting a bow. Wanted to get back into bow hunting, so not knowing all of the new things out and not wanting to get something that would be either too much bow for the purpose or simply not good enough, I decided on a midrange entry level bow to get me started. I figure I can use some things here and there and figure out what works best for me and then upgrade at a later time. Anyway, I purchased a PSE Bowmadness MC. Set at @60lbs and 25.5 pull. My question here is how to decide on a stablizer, or should my question be if I need one? I'm not really sure about the different sizes and weights, and which ones would be a better fit for my setup. I'm not great, just started shooting, so my groups are a bit unsteady, lets say at around 30 yards, most of my shots right now are within an 8 inch circle. All that being said, what stabilizers would you guys suggest I begin with in terms of either specific brands, weights and lengths? Thanks in advance for the advice.

i would recomend a 5in. PSE Omega since your draw is only 25.5 from shooters at the club i go to that have a short draw like yours seem to be going with the short stabilizers and saying they like them alot i have a 28 draw and use a 8in

B Stingers, Doinkers and others. Question is what balance best for you.

Tournament I would suggest about a 28" Use a 8" side bar to offset the sight weight. Get one that you can put weights on and off with to get the perfect feeling while shooting.

As DB mentioned, there are many great ones out there. And we all have our favorites. My favorite is the Doinker DISH because of the great adjustability of it, also the fact that it reduces noise and vibration.
