Just picked up a Hoyt Vantage Elite bow (2010 model) for my first bow. Jumped in with both feet, right? lol The bow is currently bare. I have asperations to compete. Any suggestions on sights, rests or setups? Please respond like you are talking to a guy who has never even held a bow because that is not far from the truth.
Thanks

It all defends on what you shoot. Spot shooting, Sights- Sure-Loc Supreme. Or the TruBall Axcel 3000 sight
Rest- Trophy Taker Steel Spring Pro. Aroows- Victory Nano or the Easton ACC. Release- TruBall Sweet Spot 2 "back tention" or the TruBall Absolute.
Indoors, every the same but arrows. I use Easton X7 Eclipse 2613s
3D- Easton Fatboy arrows.

thanks for the suggestions, I will look into them. I am really excited about getting started in archery. I have been wanting to do it for a while and just finally decided to give it a go.

The time has come for me to get a new longbow. I am looking for one about at 50 # at 28". I have so far considered a Martin Savannah, and a custom made by Dave Dwyer. What do you shoot and or recommend?
