Wheely 01-16-2011, 01:07 AM that sounds like fun! I would if I were there  SandSquid 01-16-2011, 09:38 PM I plan to at least hike the South Rim of The Grand Canyon on the next 3-day weekend (Presidents Day) It's going to be my last 3-day pass before I leave for Afghanistan (in March) Might do so me more adventurous trails if my lungs catch up to the altitude here. I was gasping for air (again) at 6,000 feet today on my way to Huachucha Peak/ Anybody into that sorta thing care to join me.... let me know. Gator eye 01-17-2011, 01:38 PM I like your first offer with the barley soda's better than the gasping for air.:faint2: SandSquid 01-17-2011, 11:38 PM I like your first offer with the barley soda's Have a few bottles of Double Bastard Ale, Oaked Arrogant Bastard, and some Vertical Epic... and of course several "big red" wines mostly my home-vinted Amarone and Cab Franc. I wish I lived closer......you would be my new best friend. I just bottled my first batch of wine. After a good tasting session while I was putting into bottles I decided it is still a little on the sour side. I'm not real fond of sweet wine, which most homemade wine turns out to be so I was a little light on the sugar, but it's seems drinkable. I want to give it a few months in the bottles before I decided whether it's any good or not.:spit: Next....I want to try to make BlackBerry wine. I got a bunch of berries I froze last fall but I didn't have a empty car boy to start a batch. rpford53 01-21-2011, 03:10 PM Okay, I am game and live right here in town. :peace: SandSquid 01-30-2011, 05:36 PM Okay, I am game and live right here in town. :peace: sent you an e-mail had a terrible day on the course at Huachuca Mtn. Archers BUNNYMAN 01-31-2011, 03:58 PM Watch for south of the boarder locals...I hear its a ***** down there... :usa: sean21toledo 04-26-2011, 12:24 AM I am in sierra vista for work at dr Elliott, a cardiologist in sierra vista, every other wednesday. Now to the point of my story. While I just started and have to pass on slingin arrows until after some practice... I was wondering is there really nude live dancers at the bar right outside base at 9pm every night? If you are driving away from base it is on the right. I always see the sign and laugh and wonder how much talent a town like sierra vista can muster up. Especially with dusk till dawn right down the road. |
