Usually the way they set it up, it's 31 yards or so. Corner to corner.

just curious how many animals and if anyone's ever cleaned it? seems like at least one person would have with it being a max of 31yds.

i bet it is a pretty nice facility at least based on the website pics.

anyone a member there?

I would find it hard to believe some one cleaning it, It pry could happen but I guess it depends on how its set up and what the cridders are, Our indoor 3-d here, we move them around, and the small rings on the small animals are pretty tough to hit at 25-30 yards out everytime.

This is the 6th year of this shoot and we have yet to have someone clean the course. They use the center 12 rings. We have some of the best shooters in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa coming to this shoot. There are Pro's, Semi Pro's and average Joe's, all attending this shoot. The Championship is an elimination round. It is set up like the NCAA basketball rankings. You never know who is going to finish on top. We have not had a repeat winner either. So come on out and see what a good time you have been missing.

I forgot, here are the shooting fees: $15 16yrs & younger $5 and family max is $40.

Hey Jefro, this sounds really cool and I'm definitely interested in it.
Question: Do you just show up on the first Friday night and sign up or do you need to pre-register ?

Ron-

all you need to do is show up between the shooting times. I will give you a heads up, it does get pretty busy on Friday nights and Sat. and Sun. mornings. You can bring someone to shoot with, or they will partner you up with someone. Hope you make it down.

Archery Freak-

It would be nice to have the great state of Michigan represented. Bring as many friends as you can. Your money is green there isn't it? :biggrin1:

seems this shoot is getting some good pub here on 3Dshoots.com are they or have they sponsored this shoot?

seems like a no brainer considering where he's located at and where the club is, seems like the club members would probably be his customers, am i wrong here?

No, we haven't sponsored this shoot. One of the guys that runs it has his own archery shop. Didn't want to step on any toes.

We do go shoot it. Last year we had a great showing. Our staff took 1st & 2nd and I think 6th as well as 1st in the bush class. I took second, I was beat by one of my staff shooters by 2 points.

This is really a fun shoot. It's all open class and I shoot with my bowhunting setup. I have qualified in the top 64 both times the past two years. It is amazing to shoot against some of the people that are in this shoot. When warming up before the championship shoot both times I am just awe struck watching some of these people shoot. These types of shoots have really helped me shoot under pressure and hunting.

As a matter of fact we would love to have more sponsorships. Two of the archery shops that have sponsored in the past are unable to due so this year. Trust me, when it comes to helping archery grow, there is no such thing as stepping on toes. Chris, if this is something you would consider, just contact Randy. If you need his info let me know. Besides, if it is like last year you will be taking home some of your own money.
