Hi I'm looking to get a longer stabalizer for my alphaburner. Right now I'm shooting it with a Fuse 4" axium(I think can't remeber or spell). What Im wondering is what is a good legnth and weight to start off with? I really don't want to spend a fortune on several of them till i find one that is right. I like the short one for hunting but Id like to get a different one for 3d shooting.

I think the Smooth Stability line is right up your alley. Our new SLR is awesome. You can adjust the weight ounce by ounce to get it where you need it. And here is the best part if you want a longer one all you need is a longer tube. You can use the hub and weights from you hunting setup on your 3-d rig. No more buying multiple stabs. The SLR is our new model for this year. It is 3" in diameter and is more adjustable weight wise than the original model. Here is a picture.

Doinker DISH is what I would recommend. The hunter model to be precise. It has the smaller hub, can add/remove weight as needed, can offset weight to either side, removes sound, and, removes vibration. What more could you want?:peace:

But honestly, it is all moot at this point as a job has still not been found, unemployment is now done, and I have sold off all the archery gear I had other than my hunting rig and the accessories off my target rig.

But I do like the looks of this new set up.

Yeah, I was busting your chops a bit, Pete. And to be honest, if I were looking at other brands to try, I would take a long hard look at both the Doinkers and Stokerized.
I have to admit things are getting pretty close to tight right now. I haven't given up hope (not entirely, anyway) but the outlook is a bit dim.
