i am looking at this bow and wondering if it is a good bow? was there anything that i should watch out for? is the weight and pullback adjustable like on many other bows? i am a rookie and need some quick advice!

There's better out there. First thing you need to know is your draw length and how much you can comfortable draw. This will probably require a visit to a pro shop.
