Ok so I have always shot aluminums until this year and got me some X-Weaves and like them alot. Now for the last year or so I have been trying to understand why you would want carbon coated aluminums or aluminum coated carbons??? Would'nt these arrows have the same pros and cons as all aluminum and all carbon??? I just really do not understand these A/C/C, Axis, Epic at all. Someone wanna shine a little light on them for me please. Thanks fella's:peace:

there are benefits to it... something about the best of both worlds?

personally I shoot arrows and they kill things. I'm happy :)

good point.

The aluminum is supposed to provide a rigid core and the carbon is supposed to make it more durable I think?

good point.

But would'nt the aluminum still make it bend somewhat and the carbon would still reduce straightness somewhat. RIGHT????:noidea:
