I watched a guy shoot a 46-70 (think that was the caliber). The used to user it for buffalo hunting. Anyway he had it in a Contender and when he shot it you felt the shockwave about 30 yards away, crazy!

When he was shooting it he had a strap on the front that he would wrap around his wrist, put 2 sandbags on his front hand and then fire... it would lift the sandbags and his hand up off the bench. pretty crazy
