I purchased this product for my shooting partner. It really takes the kick out and dampens the twang of the string. But it really robs the speed. He drop 35 FPS :( . We played with the spacing from the string, but it did not help. I think the follow through of the string is really important in his case.
He is shooting a Diamond WidowMaker 3. So we set it off to the side and maybe we will play with it someother time.

Any hints would be helpful. The pro shop that reps them for our area, had no ideas eather.

Regards,

Matt

If he really lost that much speed, he has it setup very wrong. Most bows don't loose any. The last one lost 1 fps. This could have been a glitch in the chrono.

I have an STS on both of my bows, an '04 Ultratec and an '05 Protec. No loss in speed whatsoever. I've shot them through 2 different chrony's. I agree with Chris. It's either set up wrong or there's a problem with the chrony.

I need to try it on my Switchback. And see what it does.
