At your 3D shoots are you assigned a target at registration and you shoot with anyone else assigned that target? In Idaho, we would register and just shoot the course with whoever we came with, keeping our own scores.

Just curious, this is new to me. But good, so I don't have to ask if I can tag along with strangers, they just have to shoot with me :biggrin1:

Here in Billyville(NETN~SWVA), We just shoot with whoever we want to.Keep our own scores with 2 sets of cards and Minimum of 3 shooters> HS

For local shoots here that is how we do it. But at the ASA Pro/AM tour your have a Time and Stake assignment.

Yeah, that's how we use to do it, except we got trophy's , pins, t-shirts for highest scores. (I got a trophy once:biggrin1: )

yeah we do the trophy thing also, but you pick it up at the following shoot....(the next time that club has a shoot.....)

we do tha money deal here and trophys . Makes for 2 top shooting classes only difference is t class is shorter distance.> HS

At the IBO triple crown in Bedford, Indiana they usually try to break up groups of four if they all seem to know each other. Two sets of score cards and two score keepers.

At our locals, it is pretty much shoot with whoever you came with.

Glad to see you volunteering to help. Jumping right in is the best way to learn. I helped in the range tents at the Bedford IBO event last year and it was definately an eye opening experience.
