Well I just got the STS system for my orion, kinda like it I must admit. I also purchased a teflon cable slide. The slide has holes for a drop away rest..alpine makes an affordable and rather nice looking and simple cable slide activated dropaway called the alpine whisperflite. Can anyone tell me anything about this rest, because if there isn't anything bad about it, I think 40 bucks is a reasonable price for a nice dropaway. thanks in advance.

The rest is 39 bucks at basspro. IDK much about how this is put together if a ballbearing or brass bushing will be better, but I do know that at some point I may want to try quick spins and my prong style rest may not work for that. Also with the wide forks it looks like it may be a good hunting rest. I just hope it's quiet and doesn't scrape as I draw it.
