I just bought my first bow. I paid about $175 for the bow, and some accessories with it. It is a Martin Cheetah. I researched it on the net and it seems the retail price is about $275. I hope I got a good deal... :confused: Anyway, looking for input on what kind of mods that need to be done and anything else I need to know about this bow. Any input appreciated.

The cheetah is a fine bow just the way it is!!!

I got one (left hand) for Mrs. Squid for 3D, but I've been shooting it (with my teeth and right hand due to shoulder surgery) while she finishes out the "5-spot season".

I may end up replacing the stock cams w/ some Nitrous-X or Furious-X because:
1) .She like shoot through systems.
2) I find X systems easier for me to tune.
3) I don't like making split cables

But unless you are fairly adept tuner and string maker, I'd just leave it like it is and shoot the h&ll out of it.

Ohh, I (gladly) paid more for Mrs.Squid's Cheetah than that, and it was a "bare bow"

I have one, it's a great bow. And you got a great deal.
