I shot easton x-7 about 20years ago,they came in black & blue.
I use to shoot with a guy who kept tryin to get me to shoot them black excalibers,i think they were an up grade of the x-7 they cost $109.00 a dozen back then i was payin $79 for mine.
If what he's talkin about is the easton-excaliber-target there black alluminum.:biggrin1:

the x-caliber arrows are a fluted shaft there clame to fame was that they were not as heavy as a regular arrow but they were much stiffer
I got to looking and I still have a few of them.
I never really liked them I didn;t see the advantage:noidea:

Were they easton & the x-7 just sold more so they discontinued them?:biggrin1:
