season opened sat. here. haven't had any luck yet. heard 2 sat. 1 Mon. and none since than. lot of sign but not much gobbling yet. maybe tomorrow the toms will start feeling frisky and I'll be wating on him.---- I hope

Rained out last sat. cuts.
Took vacation next two days,gonna tryem,let you know.

Season started here in Missouri on Monday. I took this bird on monday morning at 8:50 a.m. By the way, this was my 1st Spring Turkey:rockon: It had a 10 3/4" beard, 3/4" spurs and weighed 18.5 pounds.

Now that is a great way ta start out.
That is a beautfuil bird. went March 30-31 and had a couple of brids gobbling but were wise ol boys and 70 yards was as close as they would come in. still it was excitin. Need ta git back ta tha woods. Smokes

Went today hadem close no shot with the bow,could have got a jake walkin back to the truck,walked across the path 20yds drew the bow and said na 3in beard,next year step out there like that he will be smoke turkey:laugh:
