I'm in a confusing position...
I've been shooting in an Archery club for about two years, but I've never taken a Begginers class.
Somehow watching my mum shoot for a year made me qualified to go straight to the second level. Anyhoo... I'm on a squad and beginning personal training.

Does anyone have any small tips such as an equipment checklist etc?

What type of checklist are you looking for?
Are you talking about an equipment checklist for tournament shooting?
