Got me 2 ground hogs so far this year with my bow. I just keep an eye out for them around the family farm. Once I spot one around I grab my bow and put the stalk on. Man stalking a ground hog puts a whole new element in to hunting them.
A whole lot more fun than useing a 22-250.
The G5 sgh works great they both went about 10 feet.
Got my eye on 2 more hogs. One has built a hole right in one of my food plots below my ladder stand. I can't have that now can I.

It is fun but using broadheads is messy!:tape:

Lol....funny you posted this. I was outside yesterday getting my new guardian lined out. I set my 20 yd pin before the rains came, and desided to call it quits to do some work around the house. My dad tells me a ground hog is behind the house so I deside to try to pop him. At about 23 yds I waited for him to stand on his back legs and I let it fly. I hit him about 1/4" above the eye and flipped him. It was a blast! Now I'm hooked, I look everytime I go out now for another victim.
I'll try to post the pics.

I need to find me some ground hogs  I want to start practicing my yardage guessing, but I am not sure what to shoot at without hurting all my arrows.

I'll be using judo tips on anything small and on the ground this year.

I realy like the G5 small game head. I shoot the 100gr model. It has 3 prongs all stainless steel and they are tuff. They will penertate enough into wood to be a problem if it is soft.
Lookem up great heads.

I've heard those little g-hogs are pretty tough. I don't know about the judo points. G5 small games should be good.

Oh one more thing . If you miss with the g5 sgh. The prongs tend to grab and flip the arrow making it easier to find. :thumb:
