How much and how often? I want to keep them coming to the area.

Maybe if you mix it with salt... That might help it grow!:biggrin1:

That's funny. :biggrin1: Pile it deeper, eventually it'll catch on and grow.

I usually hand scatter a 50 # bag every week or 2. If you want to keep'em around try it twice a week or so.

I let the deer decide. if I spread it out and go back on three or four days and it's all gone I put out more. If I can still find corn on the ground I wait for another day or two. After a couple, three weeks you'll get the amount and time inbetween putting corn out down to a tee.

I usually wait intil the grass and greens start to turn brown, any time before that and all your doing is feeding turkeys.

Here in Michigan it's not legal to put bait down intil the first of Oct.

Illegal in Illinois as of Jan 1... We used to be able to spread feed during the 'off-season' but not any more.

We never did it anyway since the fields between the trails we concentrate on are between alternating corn/bean fields anyway.
