Thanks to all the folks at the Long View Campground. My son and myself had a great time, it is allways nice to get together with other shooters.

We have already decided that we will be back next year for the R 100.

DON'T do the R-100 shoots any justice, they are a blast. The people are great and the targets fun.
I shot the one in NC. wish I could shot them all.

I missed not meeting you and dread, things happen, i almost backed out,but i went.
The shoot was great, but the Fellowship among archers was un-discribable!
I met the greatest bunch of guys and gals.
Didnt want to leave i think nobody did but had to!

and there were some targets and setups I am sure we missed, there is just so many to shoot and if you are thinking about your shooting, you tend to forget about the camera.......

Yeah, I really am still disappointed I didn't get there. The pics are great and I wish I could have met and shot with you guys.
The half-way good news is that the Rinehart folks allowed me to use my registration for the Greencastle event for the Central City, IA event in August.
Rinehart is obviously a class act and I appreciate the fact that they will allow me to do the Iowa shoot. I'm looking forward to that. I just need to scare up a few locals to go out there with me. It sounds like they have on-site camping and concessions and whatnot.

The Greencastle Sportsman Association did a great job in hosting this event. Everyone was friendly, the property was fantastic, and the food wasn't bad either. :clap2: The Memorial Day Shoot sounds like a warm up for next years R100. :thumb:

Hey guys it's nice to be back engaged with this one. Thank Bunnyboy for stuffing it where it belongs. This is a neat thread.

How were your guys and families' holidays ? I hope you and your families are doing well...

We start 5-spot a week from tomorrow. I'm looking forward to that but I'm so busy at work that I have not shot a bow in about 3 weeks.... This is going to be kind of a scary scene when that league starts, but what the heck... It's only arrows missing the target face all together for the first few ends/weeks/league :frusty: ...

I'm going to jump through hoops to make it to the R-100 in Greencastle this year. I did see that it is on the schedule and I am pretty primed already (although it is -2 degrees outside here right now :frusty: ). I really look forward to you guys beating the daylights out of a humble Midwest bowhunter. It would be an honor to be beaten by such ambassadors of the sport and having the luxury of hanging around a grill eating KBO's rollups and whatever else we'll have cooking... :laugh: Sounds like a pretty good plan...
And Dredly has to figure out a way to keep a grill from flying through his rear window so we can call this year an improvement on last year's experience...
