4.*A picture must be taken of you holding a piece of paper with the date you got your deer and over half the deer.It must be posted in the submission thread for the deer to count for your team....."I will make a submission thread once the teams are drawn."

5.*If you are a disabled hunter then you may use a crossbow for this contest.

6.*Please Be honest about your entry..

*All teams will be decided by drawing names from a hat,,,Number of people per team will depend on how many people signup.


Points:
Each bowhunter can submit up to 2 deer. 2 bucks, 2 does,1 buck 1 doe, it doesnt matter. Button bucks and spikes are to be counted as an antlerless deer.

Each doe is worth 100 points.


*Each buck is worth 50 points plus 10 points for every point.To be considered a point it has to be about an inch long........Shed bucks will only be counted for 50pts




*The contest will run from Sept 4. until Dec.31st, 2007



*Teams will be drawn Tues. Sept 4.

yeah, for me anyways, our archey season is sept 1st to oct 14th, we can also bowhunt during our general gun season oct 21st to nov 25th, but we need to be per the gun season rules, wear orange ext... I will be done bowhunting buy the 14th i hope.

The guys who have to wait till October are definitely @ a disadvantage.

hows that? I would much rather hunt whitetails during the rut, the bigger bucks are a little stupid then, and they move more. They are not even near the rut during my season. Pluse the fact its not 90 deg out...

haha...theres a five pointer on my trail camera and its in my woods behind my house.. its only like a 15 acre woods but theres still some deer in there. where i live in upper michigan a 8 is a nice accomplishment..

alot of deer are nocturnal where i live but he came early in the morning but its during shooting hours

of course if you don't kill 2 deer your off my team and we ban any future hunters from South Africa from playing... or we put them on Jay Are's team :laugh:

Let's say you kill 2 deer early and enter them; You continue to hunt and kill a larger buck, can you replace the smaller animal w/ the larger one? Example : replacing a doe for a buck @ anytime during the tourney?? Otherwise I don't think I'll be submitting any for score till the end date is all.:noidea:

I think their needs to be a few more rules, need to make the teems even as far as tags go, some guys may get 2 buck tags, some may get 1 buck and 1 doe, some might get 2 does, need to make the teams so the same amount of bucks can be taken as well as does by each team.

I also think all deer submitted must be from personal hunts, no $6000 guided pay hunts, would kinda take the fun out of it of someone here pays to go shoot a huge none typ buck......

I still want in, just a few thoughts here to make it even so any team has the chance to win this!!!

Who cares if its a guided hunt? I say good for you if you want to go on one. We have enough guys in here in the HUGE deer zones that one more doing a guided hunt won't make any difference. I doubt any deer on a Texas ranch is bigger then what our Illinois and Kansas guys have roaming their hunting property.

I heard Chris was breeding a 30 pointer just to make sure he wins and that Slippy was going to steal it and enter it in the contest... but that may be a rumor.
