Has any seen or tried an Air-Rest?
It looks interesting but I was wondering how effective it really is.

If it has magnets that hold it up,it must mean the inserts must be special? Chris 12-22-2005, 11:38 PM yes, the inserts and broadheads are special. They of course are made of steel. I will check this out at the ATA show. Shooter1 01-02-2006, 09:52 PM When and if you get some more information on these rests I would appreciate hearing about them. Tks Shooter1 ohio Ross guy 01-06-2006, 08:32 AM hello everyone,im new here and want to say hi....the air rest is an awesome rest.you have to have special inserts with this rest but you can use any tips or broadheads with it.the air rest is a rest that is easy to tune and is 100% consistant....every shot will be the same as long as you hold the same.these rest work great on bows with draw stops and they work great if you have good form....if you have bad form these will help you because you only have a little room to creep before it will let down.i shoot better with this rest because of it making me use better form.this is not a rest you can just throw on and use...this concept is different and works different but yet in the same way.i notice when i get tired after 150 shots or so,my groups move around...i still group real tight but the groups will move around the target with it a 3 inch area.so if you are getting tired it will let you know.you have to have your arrows cut to specific lengths for the inserts...no big deal(you have to put inserts in new arrows anyways)when you pull to full draw, the arrow will look like its vibrating for about 1.5 seconds and then it will stabilize.wind will not effect the arrow in the rest at all....when at full draw, you can have someone push the center of the arrow and you can see the arrow bend...do that with a normal rest!if anyone has questions, just ask and i will answer them for you....i will try to post a pic of my shooting partner mike...its a cool pic. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/tattoosbysean/DSC00571.jpg ohio Ross guy 01-06-2006, 08:33 AM here is another... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/tattoosbysean/2.jpg magooo2 01-15-2006, 08:37 PM Did anyone down at the ata show have an op to see this rest .....???
