Hey you guys from Southern and southwestern NY, is there any acorns this season. I am trying to get a game plan together so I have an idea where to start. I only have a week to hunt so time is limited.

Lots of acorns for the oak in the area and if you hunt apple trees in the woods there are apples everywhere.

Now I am located in the Oneonta area and Delware county...

now is there a lot of deer, no, not wioth the way the NY DEC is handling the deer herd. to them the key is selling more lic's to get $$$ into the DEC.

It's not a bumper crop but ther are some out there...

I've seen a bunch of red...but it's mixed pretty much...
